Paper cutting has always fascinated me since I was little girl cutting snowflakes out of paper in elementary school. Recently, in my 2D class at the university, we learned about an artist named Béatrice Coron and let me tell you, I was blown away. Her pieces are ever so intricate and filled with designs and decor that it doesn't look like it was cut from paper. Not only does she frame the pieces the she has made, she goes a step further and designs them to be wearable. During her Ted Talk she was wearing a cape that was made by her filled with cut designs. After looking at some of her videos and her process, you can really tell that she puts a lot of work into her pieces and making sure that there are perfect. We even tried paper cutting in my 2D class but we were never were able to come as close as her when it came to the intricate details. Check out her work here!
