When I first clicked on the website I was very intrigued with their web design. The black makes their page look very modern and clean. The black and white theme goes throughout their site which I like because it offers a sense of cohesiveness. There wasn't much of a description in their about page of who they are and what they do which I would have liked to seen, however, they have a huge staff. Their titles range from Creative Director, to Production Designer, Strategy Director, and Business Managers. I like their one line description on their about page "WE DESIGN THINGS PEOPLE WANT, WITH PEOPLE WHO WANT DESIGNED THINGS." It gives their company some character and background as to what type of company they are.
I liked looking at the work they do for the different brands they have designed. This includes, Lowes, Target, U.S Bank, and the Timberwolves. The Target case study looked interested so I decided to read more about it. Apparently they have been working with Target for nearly two decades now. Looking at their work I was really surprised by how much they do. Gift cards, coupons, ads, photography, etc. "FROM GIFT CARDS TO COMMUNITY RELATIONS, INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS TO HEALTHCARE AND MUCH, MUCH MORE, WE HELPED TARGET STAY AT THE TOP OF ITS GAME." I definitely did start to notice the Target brand more a time went on because of their colorful designs and the iconic red accents. It was cool to find out that Little and Company are the ones that brand them.
They also have a blog that is very interesting to keep up with. They mostly post about the different projects they have been working on as well as new hires and different design related events going on around the US. I also some posts about them wanting to hire new people for their team so if anyone is looking, it's a great place to get in to. Overall, I really loved their passion for design and seeing how their process differs from other design studios.
