Final Semester Post

Well, this concludes the semester's blog for my Print Production class. This last post will be about my magazine that I created. The project was a really good way to learn about the grid, typography, and hierarchy as well as learn about the content from the book and our own research on Graphic Design. I chose to have my magazine focus on type and create a minimalist style design. Throughout the pages you can see that I chose to stick a pretty similar grid as well as colors and type. It was cool to learn about how to set up pages and how it wold look printed so the text and images don't get cut off or swallowed into the gutter when it is being binded. I uploaded a few mockups as well as an interactive link where I chose to animate a few aspects of my designs and text. I didn't know how to animate on InDesign so learning how to do that through articles and YouTube videos was very helpful.
